Program Coordinator
Reports to: Program Director
General description: Program coordinator is responsible for overseeing
the implementation and evaluation of program curriculum at one or
more locations.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Oversee implementation of program
- Identify and develop relationships with coaches, staff, children,
supervisors, parents and agencies
- Maintain applicable records
- Ensure adequate program resources (i.e. people, facilities, funding,
materials, etc.) are available
- Provide support to local staff
- Ensure compliance and timely reports by local staff
- Distribute information and materials to clients, including, but
not limited to children and parents, coaches, staff, volunteers,
partners and agencies
- Evaluate program effectiveness and present findings, including
recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Some familiarity with youth soccer
- Ability to relate to people from different backgrounds
- Excellent communications skills, verbal and writing
- Computer skills, including internet applications, word processing,
presentation applications
- Background in education, counseling or social work
