IT Coordinator

Reports to: Program Director

General description: IT coordinator is responsible for developing an information technology strategy and overseeing the implementation and evaluation of IT tools.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Make recommendations and develop strategy for IT implementation
• Oversee implementation of IT tools and strategy
• Procure needed resources and maintain applicable records
• Provide support and training to local staff
• Distribute information and materials to clients, including, but not limited to children and parents, coaches, staff, volunteers, partners and agencies
• Evaluate effectiveness and present findings, including further recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to relate to people from different backgrounds
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and writing
• Advanced computer skills, including internet applications, word processing, database applications, programming/developer background
• Background in information technology, programming
