Fundraising Assistant

Reports To: Program Director

General description: Fundraising Assistant will be responsible for implementing various functions of the development plan for the organization.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Develop leads for grants and sponsorships
• Maintain current database of donors and funding activities
• Research grant opportunities
• Follow up with time sensitive actions for grant applications
• Implement recognition program for donors
• Carry out fundraising projects as assigned
• Provide regular reports of fundraising activity

QUALIFICATIONS

• Some familiarity with youth soccer
• Experience with grant writing process
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and writing
• Computer skills, including internet applications, word processing, presentation applications
